How many years experience do you have in setting up outdoor weddings?

The team at Canberra I Do has been setting up outdoor weddings in nearly every location in Canberra for over eight years. You can be confident knowing that we have done many set ups and will ensure your ceremony looks professional and we will cater to the individual needs of each client.

Do I need to book the site where I would like to have my garden wedding?

Yes, especially if it is at Aspen Island, Old Parliament House Rose Gardens, anywhere around Lake Burley Griffin, Lennox Gardens and other sites run by The National Capital Authority.  These sites need to be booked through the NCA website. Some sites such as the National Gallery of Australia Sculpture Garden and The national Botanic Gardens require payment of a hire fee.

Are we able to change the outdoor ceremony packages to suit what we want?

Yes, you can. If you like a particular package we can alter it any way that you would like or we can completely customise a package for you. Either way, your ceremony set-up will be exactly the way you want it to be.

What do you do if it is raining on the day of our wedding?

We will call you or your fiancee four hours before the commencement of your ceremony to confirm where you would like us to set up. If you have an alternate wet weather location, we will set up your products at that destination. If you wish to still go ahead at the outdoor location even if it is raining, we will still set up the products. Please be aware that,depending on the weather conditions, some products might not be able to be used. Further information is stipulated in our terms and conditions.  No refunds will be given if the set up does not go ahead because of inclement weather conditions.

I have some really different ideas in mind for our wedding, are you open to my suggestions?

Definitely; we love to do work with new concepts and are more than happy to meet with you and work through your ideas.

What payment options do  you have if I decide to book?

We accept credit card, cash, cheque, money order or electronic transfer. Please use invoice number and Bride's name for the reference for EFT. We accept credit card and debit card payments through Paypal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service. 

I would like to book a ceremony with Canberra I Do, what do I have to do now?

Please go to the "Request a quote" page and fill out our questionnaire. We will then email you a quotation. Your privacy is important to us and we do not disclose information to other parties. Once we have received your quotation request, we will email a quotation to you. 

How do I confirm my booking and reserve the date for you to set up my wedding?

After receiving a quotation/invoice from us, we require a 40% deposit to confirm the booking.

Is my deposit refundable?

Deposits are only refundable prior to 9 months before your wedding. If there are extreme circumstances, the refund may be returned at our discretion.

What happens if it is really windy?

Although most of our products are weighted down, if it becomes extremely windy, Canberra I Do has the right to remove certain products if they may be of danger to yourselves, your guests or the general public.

Do you come out and do a site inspection with us?

Yes, we do come out and do a site inspection with you. This is usually done 15 minutes before your scheduled rehearsal or at another time convenient for you in the two weeks leading up to your wedding.

Do you have a showroom we can come and visit?

We do not have a showroom. All of our photos are placed on our website, but, if necessary, we are more than happy to meet with you to discuss your day in more detail. You are also welcome to come and visit one of our wedding set ups, meet your decorators and see us in action.

Do you travel interstate?

We may be able to accommodate your wedding out of Canberra and we are more than happy to negotiate this with you. Additional costs will occur and it will depend on availability.
